100th Post / 30th Birthday

I just realized today that this would be the 100th post of my blog! I guess that means it's here to stay. Thanks blog for being the creativity and time wasting outlet that you are.

More importantly, today is my 30th birthday. Thank you to everyone on Facebook and from work who wished me a Happy Birthday. You guys are awesome!

I was thinking earlier, what my little kid self would think of my 30 year old self today. Because I think I'm the complete opposite of all the plans younger me had for the future. I never would have predicted I'd be bearded, have long hair, and be able to beat Mega Man 4 without dieing (that game was seriously hard when I was a kid). I didn't end up being a comic book artist, but I think that's a little unrealistic anyway. Astronaut is still plausible if I can find the money.

I wonder if my little kid self would think I was cool or creepy, maybe just weird. I'm pretty sure I could beat my younger self at Street Fighter, though I'd probably call myself cheap for throwing so much.

I think younger me would at least be somewhat proud though, because I'm proud of myself for everything I have, a beautiful wife, two beautiful boys and a home to call my own.
