Dream Deeply...About Video Games

I've been messing with Google's "DeepDream" program via DreamDeeply.com and decided to feed some retro game screen shots into the mix. If you're not familiar with DeepDream, read about its origins in this article here.

The results I got are...interesting to say the least, yielding almost abstract painting type images. These were done using the full nights sleep setting. Try out some of your own screen shots to see what you come up with.

 Yuko from Valis Sega Genesis cutscene. Interesting dream world created from black space.

OutRun Sega Genesis Goal screen. Check out those crazy dream world cars.

Shadow Dancer Sega Genesis ending screen. Nice pants dude. Aside from the freaky head, it's interesting how it added more detail to Yamato's body. The city scape became more fantasy-like.

The Adventures of Batman and Robin Sega Genesis. More like battle damaged cyborg nightmare Batman. No comment on Robin.

Altered Beast Sega Genesis transformation screen. Looks like he's seen better days.
